Working Principal

As the motor shaft rotates, the top weight on the motor shaft rotates in a plane close to the mass centre. Oversized material is discharged more quickly because of the vibration created by the top eccentric weights rotating in the horizontal plane. This vibration causes a material to move across the screen cloth to the periphery, increasing the horizontal throw. To compensate for this tilting effect on screen, a bottom eccentric weight rotates below its mass’s centre of mass. In addition, by increasing the vertical component of motion, material on the screen surface is more likely to be turned over, allowing the maximum amount of undersized material to pass through. Rugged Springs placed over the circular motor base amplify the vibrations caused by the circular motor base.
